Common questions

Does DoseWell tell me what dose to take?

No. DoseWell records what you do. It never recommends or works out a dose for you. Doses, schedules and changes are set with your prescriber.

Where is my data stored?

Your log is on your iPhone and, while you're signed in, syncs to your DoseWell account on our server in Canada so your other devices get it. Your notes and the names you type are encrypted on your iPhone first, so we can't read them. Photos and files stay in your own iCloud, and data from Apple Health stays on your iPhone. The privacy policy has the details.

How do I back up or move my log?

Signing in on a new iPhone brings your log back. You can also use More → Import / Export to save a full export file you can keep in Files, iCloud Drive or email to yourself.

How does Apple Health work with DoseWell?

With your permission, DoseWell reads weight, sleep, heart rate, steps, workouts and water so you don't have to type them. What it reads stays on your iPhone. It can save the weight, plain water, protein, caffeine, blood pressure, waist and body fat you log. Change access any time in the Health app → Sharing → Apps → DoseWell.

I'm not getting reminders.

Check Settings → Notifications → DoseWell on your iPhone, then the reminder times in the app (More → Settings → Reminders). Focus modes can also hold notifications back.

How do I join the beta or send feedback?

On your iPhone, open the beta page to join on TestFlight. In the beta, take a screenshot inside the app to send feedback straight to us, or email hello@getdosewell.com.

How do I delete my data or my account?

More → Settings → Delete all data removes your log from this iPhone and, through sync, from your account and other devices. Settings → Account → Delete account deletes your account and everything synced to it from our server.
